 How to install China wooden door on the wall!

5: lock handle

Usually you import wooden door from China, you will get 3 kinds of package. They are door, frame and hardware, the details of installation as below:

One: part of door installation

The door set include door leaf, frame, architrave. And if you frame is not a whole frame, you will also get extension board(if you don’t have extension board parts, just forget it)

Two: hardware parts

For hardware, you get handle and hinge.

WHAT?? Just handle and hinge? So where is my lock body?

maybe you will ask where is my lock body? Do you forget it? —–Please don’t worry, usually the wooden door supplier install the lock body into the door.

Then you will ask why don’t install the handle on the door? And install the hinge on the frame? Why？——Because if you install the handle on the door, the package will not s flat surface, it is easy damage on the way. The hinge is same.

3: installation of frame and architrave

Step one

The frame using the 45-degree angle and groove joint ways,

Put the adjustable board into frame, as item 2 and item 3 below:

STEP TWO

Push the assembled frame into wall hole, keep it upright of both sides, make the frame and wall fixed with nails. As item 4

Use a wood strip to support the frame and ensure it upright. Inpouring the foaming glue beside the frame and all, as item 5.

STEP THREE

Architrave need to be cut by small cutting machine according to the actual length, one end of the longer architrave should be cut as 45 degree. As item 6

Architrave also can adjust the wall thickness. Applying glass glue on the back of architraves, then fix with frame, as item 7.

Last: install the door leaf on the frame, and install the lock handle on the lock body.
